It's Graduate Student Appreciation week!  Check out the events hosted by the Graduate College at the University of Illinois at this website.  Included in the lineup are workshops, webinars, speakers, special events at the ARC, and a special Krannert Uncorked event.  The Graduate Office in MechSE also has something planned, so students should watch their email tomorrow (Wednesday) for this surprise!

We also received exciting news in the MechSE Grad Office recently.  We are proud to announce that four of our current students were awarded fellowships from the National Science Foundation, meaning that MechSE was one of the top honored ME departments in the country!  Congratulations to Anna, Jeremy, Harpreet, and Matthew.   What an honor!  We can't wait to hear about your research as it develops.

Thank you to all of our amazing students!

    Happy Graduate Student Appreciation Week!
