At the 2013 Engineering Open House, the MechSE Department again had great exhibits on display in Mechanical Engineering Laboratory, Talbot Laboratory, and out on the Bardeen Quad. At the departmental EOH awards luncheon on April 22, the 1st-place award for best exhibit went to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), 2nd place went to Pi Tau Sigma Mechanical Engineering Honors Society (PTS), and tied for 3rd place were the Society for Experimental Mechanics (SEM) and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). The EOH Documentation Award went to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
