Spring Graduate Admission decisions are out! If you haven't received your email notification yet, you will be receiving it very soon. The Graduate Admissions Committee offers its congratulations to those who were selected for admission.
We are busy accepting applications for Fall 2017 admission. Our priority deadline for Fall is December 15th, and that's just right around the corner! Contact mechse-grad[figure="" class="align-center" width="10"]illinois [dot] edu with any questions about the application process.
In other news, we were excited to find out that FOUR MechSE graduate students were selected as finalists in the Graduate College Research Live! competition. Congrats to Arif Abdullah, Kamalika Chatterjee, William Davies, and Ritu Raman. We look forward to seeing your presentations at the final event on Tuesday, November 15th, from 4-6pm at Stage 5 in the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. This event is free and open to the public, so we encourage staff, faculty, and students to attend the event!
