Alumnus Named Subcontractor of the Year

Kent Schien (BSME 1981) has been chosen a 2006 Subcontractor of the Year by the Small Business Administration (SBA) in recognition of his "hard work, innovative ideas, and dedication to [his] community." Schien will represent Region VII during National Small Business Week events to be held in Washington, DC, April 12 and 13. He is the President and CEO of Innoventor, Inc., an engineering technology solutions company based in Maryland Heights, MO. Schien is the current president of the M&IE Alumni Board.
