Alumnus Nesler honored as leader in green building movement

MechSE alumnus and member of the department’s Alumni Board Clay Nesler (BSME ‘82, MSME ’83), VP of Global Sustainability and Industry Initiatives at Johnson Controls, will be recognized as a leader in the green building movement by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

Nesler will receive the organization’s Leadership Award, an annual recognition of the outstanding individuals and organizations at the forefront of the green building movement. Overall, eight recipients will be honored at the USGBC Leadership Awards Luncheon at the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo on November 9 in Boston, Massachusetts.
