Jerrell to head Allison's worldwide facilities

MechSE alumna Denise Jerrell (BSME ’94) has been appointed executive director of worldwide facilities for Allison Transmission. 
 
She most recently held positions as both global maintenance and engineering manager for Eli Lilly and Co. and prior to that held multiple positions within the Ford Motor/Visteon Corp. In her new role, Jerrell will assume management oversight of all corporate worldwide facilities activities including facilities operation, engineering, maintenance and upgrades, as well as all project and program initiatives involving manufacturing footprint and operational infrastructure. 
 
She earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois and a master's degree in manufacturing systems engineering from the University of Michigan.
 
Allison Transmission is the largest designer, developer, manufacturer and distributor of medium- and heavy-duty fully automatic transmissions and hybrid propulsion systems in the world.
