Professor William King, the Ralph A. Andersen Endowed Chair in MechSE, has been named to the Crain's Chicago Business "Tech 50" list. According to Crain's, King is among the "50 people you should know if you care about Chicago tech. They're the ones to call if you're trying to launch an idea—and watch to figure out where the next big thing is coming from."
King is the chief technology officer at the Digital Manufacturing and Design Innovation Institute (DMDII), a Chicago-based public-private partnership advancing current digital manufacturing technologies.
