On Friday, October 17, the MechSE Department hosted an open house in Mechanical Engineering Laboratory. In the early afternoon, prospective MechSE students--top high school students from around the state--visited to discover many of the exciting educational experiences the department offers. Later in the afternoon, current MechSE freshmen and their parents toured the open house to see some of the great projects in which they may soon participate.

MechSE faculty, staff, grad students, and undergrads--particularly the student societies--showed their guests everything from injection molding and sand casting, to MEM's devices and the Rheology Zoo, to the SAE Formula, Baja, and Hybrid vehicles. Below are a few photos from the event.
