MechSE student part of a team developing first robotic cat toy

James Pikul, a graduate student in MechSE, has been working with a team of other students and alumni from the departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering on the first robotic cat toy that reacts intelligently to the movements of the cat. The team has launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign in the hopes of manufacturing and selling the product to the public.
