Hey MechSE Community!

Spring semester is well under way, but what does that mean for you?

Are you still mapping out your future at U of I? Or on your way to become a MechSE alum?

The MechSE Advancement Student Committee is introducing a new Shadow Program to further develop the connections between older and younger students! The shadowing dates will be the week of  March 30th - April 3rd.

This program is a two-part/two-day initiative: the younger student will shadow the older student for one class on one day and the older will shadow the younger for one class on one day. The program will provide younger students with a chance to see what lies ahead in MechSE and older students an opportunity to see how curricula have changed.  This is also a way to encourage involvement in a potential alumni mentoring program.

FREE CHIPOTLE FOR THOSE WHO PARTICIPATE!! Burritos will be available on Friday April 3rd from 11am-1pm. Location has yet to be determined.

You can sign up through the MechSE Shadow Program Questionnaire (up until the Friday before Spring Break, 3/20) and join the MechSE Shadow Facebook page here.

So whether you want to get a better idea of what you'll be learning in Heat Transfer, or if you need to make up for those ME 170 lectures you missed ( :P ), sign up for the MechSE Shadow Program!
