It's also recommended that students be mindful of events and deadlines, which are published on a number of online calendars. Check the MechSE Website for MechSE events. Events are also publicized via MechSE's weekly email system which is automatically sent to MechSE students on Mondays. It's also a good practice for students to add academic deadlines (http://www.registrar.illinois.edu/registration/deadlines.html) to their schedules each semester.
