Seminar schedule - Spring 2014

1/22/2014 Katrina Hagler, Assistant Director of Graduate Recruiting and Admissions

Written by Katrina Hagler, Assistant Director of Graduate Recruiting and Admissions

Every semester, MechSE invites leading researchers in mechanical engineering and theoretical and applied mechanics to visit our department and offer a seminar to our students.  Every semester we have a diverse schedule of talks covering biomechanics, controls & dynamics, fluid mechanics & thermal sciences, nanomechanics & nanomanufacturing, and solid mechanics & materials.

The seminars listed below are only the seminars that are considered "MechSE Seminar Series" which students can attend to fulfill requirements for ME 590 and TAM 500.  All MechSE students are required to register for ME 590 or TAM 500 and are required to attend a minimum of 4 seminars each semester.  This list is, by no means, a comprehensive list of seminars on campus as all departments offer seminars. In fact, there are even other seminars within the department (such as BioMechanics Interest Group Seminars, Fluids Interest Group Seminars, Materials Interest Group Seminars, to name a few).

I invite you to check out this semester's offerings and attend those in your research area, or explore a new field!
