The 2015 China-America Frontiers of Engineering Symposium will be held June 1-3, at the National Academies' Beckman Center in Irvine, California. Sixty of the most promising engineers under the age of 45 from China and the United States will meet for an intensive 2-1/2 day symposium to discuss cutting-edge developments in four areas: Advanced Manufacturing, Big Data, Clean Water, and Devices for Health Care. The event facilitates international and cross-disciplinary research collaboration, promotes the transfer of new techniques and approaches across disparate engineering fields, and encourages the creation of a transpacific network of world-class engineers.
