MechSE student won Best Paper Award at IEEE Sensors Conference

Elise Corbin MechSE PhD student Elise Corbin won Best Paper Award at the 2010 IEEE Sensors Conference. Ms. Corbin’s paper was “Electrical Noise Characteristics of a Doped Silicon Microcantilever Heater-Thermometer” which was co-authored with her advisor, Professor William King.

MechSE PhD student Elise Corbin won Best Paper Award at the 2010 IEEE Sensors Conference. Ms. Corbin’s paper was “Electrical Noise Characteristics of a Doped Silicon Microcantilever Heater-Thermometer” which was co-authored with her advisor, Professor William King.

The IEEE Sensors Conference is an annual international conference, which was held this year in Hawaii. Over 1,000 papers were submitted to this meeting. University of Illinois sent 14 students and faculty to present papers at this prestigious meeting.
