Miller Receives SAE Faculty Adviser Award

Norman R. Miller, a retired Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Scholar in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering, will be one of 10 university faculty members in the nation to receive the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) International Faculty Adviser Award during the SAE 2008 World Congress, April 20-23.

The award acknowledges faculty members who put forth outstanding commitment as advisers of SAE collegiate branches and Collegiate Design Series teams. SAE International is a global association of more than 121,000 engineers and related technical experts in the automotive, aerospace and commercial-vehicle industries.
