Professor King gives Keynote Lecture

Professor William KingOn April 20, 2010, Professor King delivered the keynote lecture at the Exxon-Asylum Workshop on Nanomechanical Characterization of Soft Materials with Scanning Probe Microscopy. The title of his talk was “Nanometer-Scale Thermal Processing for Materials Characterization and Nano-Manufacturing.”

On April 20, 2010, Professor King delivered the keynote lecture at the Exxon-Asylum Workshop on Nanomechanical Characterization of Soft Materials with Scanning Probe Microscopy. The title of his talk was “Nanometer-Scale Thermal Processing for Materials Characterization and Nano-Manufacturing.”

The goal of the workshop was to share the latest technology and research that is being done in nanomechanics, with emphasis on polymers and soft materials.

Professor William King is Associate Professor and Willett Faculty Scholar in the Department of Mechanical Science and Engineering. He is an affiliate of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, the Materials Research Laboratory, Beckman Institute for Advanced Study, and the Micro- and Nano-Technology Laboratory.
