The Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering can be pursued online on a full-time or part-time basis. The application process is the same for both options; simply select the online program when you are applying. Online students complete the same requirements as on-campus students, and they receive the exact same degree as our on-campus students. Prospective applicants are encouraged to review the online course catalog and coursework requirements for the program prior to applying.
The Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering is a self-funded program where students are responsible for paying their tuition and fees. Students in this program are not eligible for Board of Trustee (BOT) tuition-waiver-generating assistantships at the University of Illinois.
