Andrew Alleyne received the 2003 Outstanding Young Investigator Award from the Dynamic Systems and Control Division of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). The award recognizes his outstanding work in the development of one of the first applications of Lyapunov-based adaptive control to automobile active suspensions, his advancement of the control of electrohydraulic actuation, and his development of control modeling techniques using dimensional analysis.
