University Honors MechSE Seniors

Senior Alexander Millar was one of eight MechSE students to receive a Broze Tablet award from the University of Illinois during the 2009 MechSE Awards Banquet this May. Other 2009 recipients of the award for sustained academic achievement include Matthew Goelz, Nicholas Musser, James Pikul, Zhan Fan Quek, Gregory Schebler, Jonathan Smith and Hui Wei Yeo.Their names will be inscribed on a bronze tablet that will be hung in the Main Library.

Thirty MechSE undergraduates and three graduate students received awards at the annual awards banquet (see awards page), and an additional 30 students were initiated into the mechanical engineering honor society, Pi Tau Sigma.
